The Screwbow by Claes Oldenburg
A gigantic screw that curls up on the ground like a caterpillar and then clears a way for itself in the earth. The unusual sculpture by the artist Claes Oldenburg provided the inspiration for the stop-motion film by Emile Steginga. The film is the result of the ArtTube video pitch, which was announced in the spring of 2010. Emile Steginga was the winner and was given the opportunity of turning his idea into reality.
