Mike Redman wins film prize

Multidisciplinary and self-educated Mike Redman (1978) who made the ArtTube film From Project to Object won a prestigious film prize.

His style is best described as headstrong simplicity. In 2002 he made 'Walkmen', the first Dutch documentary covering the evolution of Hip Hop culture in The Netherlands.
He has also developed musically. Besides dozens of international releases he has created an independent record label (Redrum Recordz), and travels the world with his different music projects. In his most recent project ‘Anagram’, a documentary about the renowned visual artist Diet Wiegman, all these skills come together. Anagram has recently won the award for 'best art documentary' at the NY International Independent Film Festival in New York.
